This section describes how to submit batch jobs for execution on the HPVM cluster. Two options for job submission are available to the user: basic job submission, and advanced job submission. Both of these options require the user to have authenticated himself on the HPVM cluster by using the `Log On' option from the `Authentication' menu. If the user attempts to use a job submission function prior to authenticating himself, an error message will be displayed in the text area in the client's main window.
