ETHICS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

			       Abstract

For the results of scientific research to be trustworthy, professors
and graduate students should conduct their work according to high
ethical standards.  In this seminar, participants will discuss
several scenarios involving common ethical problems about authorship,
handling of errors, and conflict of interest, which arise in academic
research in computer science.
