Professor: Andrew A. Chien

Time:	Wednesdays, 2-3:30pm

Place:	2240 DCL

The course will consist of two parts:

1. An intensive study of high performance remote procedure call,
standards for distributed objects (COM, CORBA, and Java distributed
objects).

2. A project involving research topics working within one of the
major distributed object systems

The organizational meeting for this project will be on Wednesday,
September 10th.  Depending on interest levels, registration may be
competitive.
